Applications and Benefits:

Pre-Treatment for Reverse Osmosis (RO): UF pretreatment serves as an important step within Techomeca, as the company employs this technology in order to support the RO systems. Process Concentration: Besides purification, UF can also thicken dilute streams, recoving useful constituents that cannot be returned to their dilute state. This capability is notably valuable in enterprises involving the agro-industrial use of respective raw materials, such as in the processing of dairy produce, wine manufacture, and biofuel production – there are always cases when specific enzymes, proteins, or other substances need to be concentrated for subsequent processing or even direct sale.
